My favorite site

Filed under: Uncategorized — tanyah @ 8:09 am

According to wikipedia communication is a process that allows beings – in particular humans – to exchange information by several methods. For me this is not just simple exchange of information it is much more, i think communication, somehow, can be described as an art. Every person is individual so you have to be creative to find common language with them but anyway it is impossible to find it with everyone.

SO you understood that for me communication plays a great role in my life.  Thats why one of my favorite web sites is www.hi5.com.

On this website you can meet new people from all over the world: meet your school friends or get acquainted with new people. It is really easy to use it. You should just follow several steps: create your profile, upload pictures and insert personnel information and then enter groups on you interest. There are a lot of opportunities here. For example one of my friend, who is working as a promoter in Almaty, got acquainted with different djs all around the world and then collaborate with them. In this case hi5 helps him in his business.

Then I know one couple who meet in hi5 ,they have same interest, their profiles was on style, and they start communicating thru it,and when they meet in reality they also  like each other, and now this couple date for one year.

Also hi5 has one negative side. You spend a lot of time here, you can look photos or videos,or giving comments and after you understood that you simply waste your time. But nothing is perfect in this world so you should make your decision by yourself and I was just sharing my opinion with you:)

What does that mean…answer is simple-watching from below. It is obviouse that serveillance and sousveillnace is part of our daylife. It is hard to imagine person without mobile phone and almost 2/3 of them have camera or more over video camera inside it. Also as an example is tv show ‘hidden camera’, this show is pretty funny, but the problem is that not everyone have snse of humour and can laugh on himself. This societies can be useful as the increasing mood after watching this show but only in case if you can laugh about yoursrlf the same as you laugh about others!

Survelliance society

Filed under: Uncategorized — tanyah @ 6:46 am

“The surveillance society is a society which is organised and structured using surveillance-based techniques. To be under surveillance means having information about one’s movements and activities recorded by technologies, on behalf of the organisations and governments that structure our society. This information is then sorted, sifted and categorised, and used as a basis for decisions which affect our life chances.” (A Report on the Surveillance Society: Summary Report, p. 3)

I think that Survelliance society is the descrimination of human rights. Every person has a right for private life. In our age of technology, when almost everyone have cameras on the mobile phones to make picture or video is really easy thing. But this actions may be considered as an intrusion in other people’s life.

1)Paparazzii intrused in life of famouse people without understang that they are ordinary people with their interests, friends and preferences. For journalists when person become popular he/she automatically stop being ordinary person. But who basically cares what paparazzii wants private life should be private till that point that particular person decide that it should be private!

2)Also nowadays become very popular to put cameras in toilet, restaurants,on the street and to”Play” with people, and then make fun of them in TV shows. This is not normal, because you can not be sure that someone watch you right now.

I think that in every country should be law for protection human rights from the hidden cameras and making pictures.

BE THANKFUL…

Filed under: Uncategorized — tanyah @ 6:12 am

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don’t know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.Be thankful when you’re tired and weary, because it means you’ve made a difference. It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Is there freedom of speech in Kazakhstan?

Filed under: Uncategorized — tanyah @ 6:08 am

The status of media in Kazakhstan is not free at all; we don’t have freedom of speech, and so-called “Democracy of media” does not exist in Kazakhstan. For instance, we don’t have any oppositional TV channels; there is channel 31, but it’s not oppositional, it calls itself as “independent media”.The daughter of the President Dariga Nazarbayeva owns Khabar, which is one of the biggest local TV channels. And I know that monthly salary of the reporter in Khabar is higher than on other channels, so it’s clear that journalists will be motivated to work there.According to the Media Sustainability Index Kazakhstan’s objective scores are:·        Free speech – 1.30/4.00·        Professional journalism – 1.40/4.00

·        Plurality of news sources – 1.50/4.00

The only way how journalists can express their own opinion is use of new information technologies, such as intrnet and using of weblogs is widespread nowadays. It is more difficult to find real author in the internet, and journalists have no fear to be harassed then for their opinion or for the reality and facts.

It should be mentioned that the level of professional journalism is so low in Kazakhstan, because anyone can become a journalist. Even the level of education given in the majority of Universities does not correspond to the high standards.

My Community

I think that we live in very controversies society where democracy tries to head us. We live in age of homosexuals, prostitutes and drugs, but the same time this is age of innovations, information and technology. I think that now if you have a dream and you have a goal and you definitely know what do you want to achieve- you will achieve it. Information rules nowadays, cuz you may become very famous and rich if you know smth those others don’t and the same time information may kill you. I think that information gives sense where he/she belong to.

PR in fashion industry in Kazakhstan

Filed under: Uncategorized — tanyah @ 10:01 am

Acccording to my interview with PR person from model agency. There is no Public Relations in modeling at all.Of course they have target audience: potential models and potential clients. But they do nothing for working with them.According to the interview I didn’t get at least any information. The main goal of PR practitioner in the agency is to find clients. But they do not have any ideas about creating events for publicity-as the PR should be.”We do not have competitors, because modeling is not wide spread here”- said PR director of the agency.

I completely disagree with their understanding of public relations. And I think our goal as a future PR specialists is to change their attitude towards PR.Make clear how it should be!
